Forsaken Fortress - Bridge by Prasa Forsaken Fortress - Bridge by Prasa
This is the remake of one of my first digital paintings. I had make it almost 3 years ago. Base perspective blocks had been painted in 3dsmax, rest in photoshop. IŽve decided to refine the picture before posting it here. So I hope youŽll see, that three years period meanŽs some enhancement of my skills. :)

Story behind pic is about some medieval hero seeking through old crusader fortress full of undead knights.

Hope you'll like it

This is one of many illustrations I've made for online RPG/Strategy game NIBOREA, which is by the way absolutely great and funny game! :)
This is better version of previous illustration.

You can find and check the game here .. I recommend it:

THAT IS FUCKINGC OOL! The castle or fort seems so ominous! Someone powerful calls that place home, but by the look of the little guy in the foreground, that powerful lord must not be a good person. I love the rain and how the lightening creates both deep shadows and highlights on the fort's structure. It creates a very foreboding feeling. Cool stuff man!

Hey I love this picture!

I saw it as a bookcover from "Tarean - Sohn des Fluchbringers" by Bernd Perplies. And as I saw this, I had to buy it!
Very great :)

Two Things:
1.) This truly is an amazing piece of art. You can almost feel the cold and the rain that the hero feels.
2.) Have you ever seen the cover art to the Doctor Who novel The Eyeless by Lance Parkin? I'm not very link savvy, so here's the URL to the wikipedia page: [link] . The art IS basically this piece, just sci-fi-ed up a bit. but anyway, this IS amazing!!!
