Illustration for book cover. It is New Orleans in second half of 19th century.
I tried to catch look and atmospheare of old oil paintings. All done in Photoshop in cca 12 hours. C&C welcome.

Cotton Levee, New Orleans by ~Prasa is a great painting of the older days of New Orleans. I like the contrast between the blue sky and water against the brown coast and warm sun. ( Featured by `Aeires )
